Citizens in grey areas do not need to worry. They will all be accommodated because they have the rights to cast their votes
“We’re preparing 40 TPSs in three locations,” said Head of Jakarta KPU, Sumarno, Tuesday (7/8).
Those three locations are Cipinang Prison (30 TPSs), Salemba Prison (8 TPSs), and Pondok Bambu Prison (2 TPSs).

“Citizens in grey areas do not need to worry. They will all be accommodated because they have the rights to cast their votes,” he stated.
According to Sumarno, the total of fix voters list (DPT) in presidential election this year reaches 7,096,168 voters. The number increases from DPT in last legislative election which was only 7,001,520 voters.
On the other hand, the amount of TPS in presidential election declines from legislative election. Later, there will be 12,408 TPSs, while in legislative election there were 17,045 TPSs. It happens because there are differences in the amount of voters in each TPS.
“If during legislative election every TPS had 500 voters, in presidential election there are 800 voters. So, the amount of TPS is decreasing,” he uttered.
